Austin-based Advocacy Shop The Brannan Firm Welcomes New Associate Laura Carr
AUSTIN, Texas – October 12, 2021 – Ryan Brannan, founder, and principal of The Brannan Firm, is excited to welcome the firm’s newest associate, Laura Carr. Carr comes to the firm from the Office of Texas Governor Greg Abbott, where she worked as a scheduler for Governor Abbott. Carr brings both Texas and Washington D.C. experience to her new role.
Carr began her political career working in legislative offices on Capitol Hill; Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL), Congressman Jodey Arrington (R-TX), and Congressman Neal Dunn (R-FL). In Washington, D.C., Carr worked in political fundraising for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and No Labels, a bipartisan nonprofit organization that inspired the creation of the Problem Solvers Caucus, which currently features nearly five-dozen U.S. House members.
